Move-in Condition Report Generator

The room-by-room record both parties sign, so a deposit deduction later has something behind it. Georgia, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Tennessee, Washington and Montana make the report a condition of deducting; Michigan and Massachusetts prescribe the notice at the top, and it is printed. The preview is free and watermarked; the clean PDF is $2.99, or included with a subscription.

The move-out report feeds the security deposit itemization: each damaged item and its estimated cost becomes a deduction line, and the itemization's own checklist confirms the state's return deadline. The deposit itself was receipted with the deposit receipt.
